We spent years in the world of fine-dining and now we’re building a joy project: Hungarian comfort food that’s familiar, honest, and easy to choose.
We imagined a place that is an easy choice for Budapest visitors who want to try the classic Hungarian dishes they’ve probably heard of, done properly and inspired by our grandma’s recipes.
Our goal is simple: to bring the same quality and friendly service we learned in our Michelin-recommended restaurant, and offer it at fair, mid-range prices.
What we are (an what we are not)
LISZT is intentionally simple: well-known Hungarian dishes, straightforward portions and presentation. We are not fine dining, not a modern “reinterpretation”. Just proper Hungarian lunch in the centre of Budapest, created for visitors exploring the original flavours of the city.
